Artists for Artists is a new development of artists who are working to provide artists with the support they need to do art at the highest levels as well as providing them with the tools they need to teach.By artist we are referring to visual artists, musicians, writers, actors, dancers, etc. Through teaching, exposing new artists, and selling products that the artists create Artists for Artists attempts to expose young upcoming artists to the possibilities of the art world. Though there are some kids who get the benefits of arts education there are double, if not more, the amount of artistic children ranging from grades k-12 that who do not get exposure to this type of education. These students are extremely talented but are not exposed to the arts because of their educational environment or financial situation. In order to help them gain the tools and confidence needed to push their ideas forward an artistic infrastructure and a nurturing environment should be created. Artists for Artists is made up of two artists who collaborated in performance art and music. As natives of New Orleans and graduates of New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, they realize the importance of arts education and exposure when helping to develop emerging artists.
